Have you got a strong outlook on life? Strong enough to wield as a weapon? If so, you may be able to use your opinions to your advantage and triumph in the Pick A Side arena. If not, don’t worry, in this last-team-standing battle game you also get to use a rolling pin, or a sword!
Gameplay
You arrive in the lobby, where there are two huge screens – one red and one blue. Wait for the theme of the round to appear, read the statements and pick a side!
Walk toward the statement you agree with to choose a side. Every decision is made in secret, so players will disappear from the arena until the round begins.
The battle arena is a last team standing game and players charge, attacking the team with an opposing preference. Some rounds will be evenly matched with equal numbers and other times you may find yourself alone with jut a rolling pin to defend yourself.
Quick Tips
Opinion Twin
After you have picked a side and battled for your opinions, you can check the menu to see which of the other gamers share your point of view. You might find new friends who share all the same opinions as you… or a new nemesis.
Beatdown
You start the game with just a rolling pin at your disposal for arena battles. It is not the best weapon to use in combat, but as you play and earn more money, you will be able to buy other weapons like swords, axes and bows!
Special Rules
You can also use your hard-earned cash to activate a special round, which will have its own unique set of rules. This could mean that every player has to use the exact same weapon or bestow super health on all players.
Very Important
If you have got some spare Robux kicking around, you might want to pick up the VIP gamepass. It will boost your movement speed in the arena and increase your health, earning potential and experience points you receive.
SirMing didn’t expect Pick A Side, which only took a week to script, and another week to polish, to be so popular, but he already knew that a good, simple idea is better than a complicated one, so when you are creating your own games, remember, it doesn’t have to be difficult or complex!
